## Summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is in the planning stage of a procurement process for establishing a Highways Resilience and Maintenance Framework. This framework aims to support maintenance, emergency response, and resilience works across the city's highway network. The procurement is categorized under the 'works' industry category, with a focus on highway materials, construction-related services, and traffic management. Located in Stoke-on-Trent, UK (region UKG23), this process currently involves market engagement activities, with feedback submissions due by 21st October 2025. The procurement method involves creating a multi-lot framework agreement, and the Council anticipates issuing a formal Invitation to Tender by December 2025.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in highway construction, maintenance, and related services. Companies with expertise in road resurfacing, preventive treatments, bridge maintenance, and traffic management systems would be ideal candidates. Additionally, businesses offering innovative solutions in predictive maintenance and data-driven approaches can greatly benefit from this framework, especially if they demonstrate the capacity to rapidly respond to emergencies. The framework enables a collaborative environment that will enhance business growth through sustainable and high-quality service delivery in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
