## Summary

Birmingham City Council is inviting tenders for the project titled "P3341 - Emergency Call-Out & Birmingham City Council's Emergency Demolition Projects," which involves a 24/7 emergency works contract. This procurement, legally backed by UK legislation 2023/54, is aimed at providing solutions for unsecure and dangerous structures across both private and Council-owned properties. The procurement falls under the 'works' category, with a location base in Birmingham, UK (region UKG31). The process is currently in the tender stage, with submissions due by 12:00 PM on 31 October 2025. Interested parties should utilize the Council's e-tendering system to register and download relevant documents. The contract period is set to commence on 1 January 2026 and will last for 36 months.

This procurement presents significant growth potential for businesses specializing in demolition, site preparation, and emergency structural management. Companies equipped to handle rigorous emergency situations, such as building demolition, erection of security barriers, and provision of temporary structural support, will find this tender particularly lucrative. With a contract value of £600,000, firms with capabilities in delivering swift, high-quality support services to address critical infrastructure challenges are well-suited to compete. This opportunity is especially appealing for those who can provide quick mobilisation, as the work will require response actions within an hour of site notification. With Birmingham City Council’s emphasis on both quality and cost-effectiveness (70% price and 30% quality in award criteria), agile and resourceful enterprises are likely to benefit the most from this opportunity.
