## Summary

The Corporate Officer of the House of Commons is planning a public procurement for a new ticketing solution, aiming to enhance the booking experiences for tours and events at the UK Parliament. The project involves a Request for Information (RFI) exercise to gather feedback on draft requirements related to booking, ticketing, and visitor experience management. This engagement stage, planned to begin in mid-March 2026, will help shape the procurement strategy and refine the tender requirements. Those interested are encouraged to express early interest to be involved in the RFI process by registering via the UK Parliament's eSourcing Portal by 30 March 2026. Additionally, related supplier events are planned for November 2025 to further understand market offerings.

This procurement process presents significant business opportunities for companies specialising in information technology services or strategic review and planning services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs), can take advantage of the ambitions of the UK Parliament to bring enhanced accessibility and visitor interaction through innovative solutions. With an estimated budget of £500,000 to £1,000,000, businesses that can offer commercial off-the-shelf solutions tailored to public needs, including integration and support services, may find this an ideal occasion to grow and reach a prominent government clientele.

## Notice

UK Parliament is shortly going to be conducting a Request for Information exercise to obtain feedback from prospective Bidders on the Authority's proposed service model and commercial approach. The information gathered from this exercise will inform the Authority's procurement strategy and enable the refinement of requirements such that when the tender is launched (targetting Summer 2026), prospective Bidders can be prepared for the opportunity, and can submit a competitive tender response.

### Planning Information
