## Summary

The London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust has awarded a contract for Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services. This procurement process was conducted under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, and the contract has been formally awarded as of 27th April 2026. The contract will commence on 1st May 2026 and conclude on 31st April 2027, with a total value of £19,920,000. This service is categorised under ambulance services, and it will be provided in the UK, specifically in Harrow, London. The procurement method utilised was a Direct Award Process C, without prior publication of a call for competition, which is outside the scope of traditional Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those involved in healthcare transportation services. Companies with strong capabilities in managing patient logistics and a demonstrated commitment to quality and sustainability will find this contract advantageous. The procurement process underscores a preference for suppliers who can assure innovation and efficiency, while having robust Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management systems in place. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that meet quality standards and have relevant certifications, such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration, are well-suited to compete in this kind of procurement process.
