## Summary

The Dorset Community Outbreak Response Service (CORS) is being managed by the NHS Dorset Integrated Care Board, based at County Hall in Dorchester, United Kingdom. This procurement process has been awarded a contract to provide a coordinated response to infectious disease outbreaks within the Dorset community. This initiative falls under the health services industry category and aims to cover all children and adults registered with a Dorset GP. The procurement, following the Provider Selection Regime Most Suitable Provider procedure, was completed using a direct method below the threshold without competition. The contract is set to commence on 1st December 2025 and is scheduled to continue until 30th November 2026, with a possibility for a twelve-month extension depending on available funding.

The tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses capable of delivering specialised health services, particularly those focusing on outbreak response and disease control. The contract, valued at £20,000 net, is particularly suited for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as it involves providing a centralised pathway in response to health outbreaks such as Influenza and Scabies. Engaging in this procurement could be highly beneficial for businesses seeking to expand their service offerings within the UK healthcare sector, offering potential for growth and further contracts in public health response. The project emphasises reduced diagnosis and treatment times, inter-agency collaboration, and effective prevention strategies, aligning well with enterprises skilled in managing public health challenges.
