## Summary

Trent and Dove Housing has initiated a planning stage for the upcoming re-procurement of its Fire Prevention Equipment Servicing and Maintenance contract. The contracting process is currently at the preliminary market engagement phase, inviting participation from interested suppliers to aid in shaping the tender's approach. The procurement, managed by GBS Procure Limited on behalf of Trent and Dove Housing, is focused on services related to the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire safety systems. The procurement will be implemented across Trent and Dove’s housing stock, situated primarily in the UKF region of the United Kingdom. Scheduled to conclude its preliminary stages by 7 November 2025, the contract aims to ensure full compliance with legislative requirements and is valued at approximately £800,000. This contract presents an opportunity for suppliers leading up to the full tender announcement on 1 September 2026. The contract period is expected to start on 1 April 2027 and could last until 31 March 2030, with the possibility of extension up to March 2032.

The procurement represents a substantial opportunity for businesses involved in fire safety systems and maintenance services. It would especially benefit experienced providers capable of delivering high-quality, customer-focused services while demonstrating innovation in preventative maintenance within residential settings. Businesses specialising in fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, technical inspection, and maintenance services with the capacity to integrate digital systems for enhanced efficiency are well-suited to compete. Social value, sustainability, and local workforce development are critical components of this tender, emphasising the potential for businesses committed to these values to contribute positively to the community objectives of Trent and Dove Housing. Smaller enterprises are also encouraged to participate, as the procurement structure is favourable to SMEs.
