## Notice

Swindon Borough Council (SBC), wishes to submit to tender the requirements for a single supplier for the provision of the removal and installation of current and new street light lamp columns and associated groundworks, electrical connections and disconnections, yearly clean and electrical testing, night patrol and Ad-Hoc repairs. It is to be noted that stock for these services is mainly provided by Swindon Borough Council. The only materials the Council does not provide is the jointing materials as these are part of the contractor costs for a service transfer, disconnection or new service connection. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with the ability to extend for a further period of 1 x 24 months. This is to ensure that we attract sufficient interest from the market. The estimated contract value is indicative only with no guarantee of the amount of work to be called off under this contract. Estimated contract spend is between PS901,254 across the initial 3-year term and up to PS1,502,090 across the full 5-year term. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. Responses to this questionnaire will be used solely for this pre-tender exercise and any responses will not be referred to during the tender evaluation. To this end, tender-style responses to this questionnaire are not necessary - the intention is to invite supplier feedback on the options, to help shape the final specification and commercial model to ensure the tender delivers the optimum outcomes for the Council.
