The cost per tonne payable to be increased by 32.36% from 1 September 2025 - 31st October 2025. The increase in cost has been attributable to current over supply of wood waste, local wood biomass processing capacity, storage & stockpiling of wood and the impact of these on contract costs and economic sustainability. The variation in rate is permitted under the Public Contract Regulations 2015, and will not exceed 50% of the value of the contract rates.
