## Summary

The contracting process initiated by Kingston Upon Hull City Council involves the "Provision of Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation and Support" across several lots and sub-lots. This procurement falls under the category of health and social work services, focusing on domestic abuse support. Located in Hull, within the East Yorkshire region, the contracts involve services classified under CPV codes such as social work services with accommodation. The procurement method utilised is the open procedure, specifically under the Light Touch Regime, and the contracts are set to begin on 1st April 2026, covering an initial three-year period with potential extensions. The procurement process encompasses stages from tender to award, with key dates such as the standstill period ending on 20th February 2026, followed by contract commencement on 1st April 2026.

This tender provides substantial opportunities for business growth, particularly for large organisations capable of delivering specialised services within the health and social work sectors. The contracts present an excellent opportunity for ventures focusing on trauma-informed support and specialist safe accommodations, appealing to businesses experienced in these domains. The procurement process allows for non-profit organisations and social enterprises, such as Hull Women's Aid and Time To Listen C.I.C., to compete effectively. These contracts not only open doors for service providers already established in delivering care and support services but also encourage new entrants to engage in the transformative roles essential within community-focused environments. Organisations intending to bid must ensure alignment with the council's quality and performance criteria, thereby fostering partnerships that can sustain and enhance service delivery.
