## Summary

The Climate Change Committee (CCC), a central government public authority, is in the planning stage for the procurement process titled "CCC IT Services Procurement." This tender focuses on acquiring goods within the industry categories of office and computing machinery, software packages, IT services, and the maintenance of information technology equipment. Based in London, the CCC is seeking to engage with the market to gather insights and gauge interest in the forthcoming procurement. A pre-market engagement process is currently underway, involving a questionnaire available for feedback until 19th November 2025. The subsequent contract is expected to commence on 1st May 2026, with provisions for renewal extending potentially to 2031. Although the procurement route is yet to be decided, the procurement status is actively in planning.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, software development, and IT equipment maintenance, especially those experienced in engaging with public authorities. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate, as the procurement considers SME suitability. Businesses with innovative IT solutions or unique capabilities in supporting organisational processes can benefit from the CCC’s initiative, potentially influencing long-term strategies for emissions reduction and climate adaptation. Engaging in this process can allow businesses to shape and understand future requirements, aligning their offerings to support the CCC's objectives in addressing climate change impacts.
