## Summary

The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) has awarded a contract for Minor Civils Works on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, an essential urban regeneration site in London. The LLDC, located at 05 Endeavour Square, London, is focusing on estate consolidation, regeneration delivery, and asset lifecycle management as part of its strategic phase to support East London's growth. As the contract initiation date was 3rd March 2026, it will run until 5th January 2031, with a potential two-year extension at the authority's discretion. Implementing an open procurement method, LLDC selected Kenson Highways Ltd as the supplier. This task-order based contract aligns with GLA Group strategies, encompassing organisations such as OPDC, OSDC, and local borough partners, maximising economies of scale and collaborative opportunities. The industry category is civil engineering, with a projected five-year spending of £4,050,000.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses in the construction and civil engineering sectors. Companies specialising in urgent, small-scale civil works would be well suited to compete, as LLDC requires a responsive and compliant supplier to maintain high standards across the park's assets. The open procedure indicates a transparent and competitive environment conducive for SMEs and other enterprises seeking to expand their reach or enter the public sector market. With a substantial contract value and ongoing task-order nature, participating businesses can benefit from consistent work volume, thereby enhancing their revenue and establishing long-term commercial relationships with the GLA Group and associated partners.
