## Summary

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is seeking to procure Post-Incident Support Services, a process managed with assistance from Scotland Excel. This tender, classified under Psychiatrist or psychologist services (CPV 85121270), aims to provide specialist support to SFRS employees potentially impacted by traumatic events. The procurement method is an open procedure, covering all regions of Scotland and requiring electronic submissions by 19th February 2026. The project ensures alignment with the SFRS Mental Health Strategy and supports policy frameworks to mitigate occupational health risks. The procurement stage is currently active following a tender deadline extension to accommodate pricing updates and supplier review needs.

This tender opens opportunities for businesses with expertise in trauma support and psychological services, offering a competitive avenue for specialists in mental health and post-incident support. Companies capable of delivering geographically extensive services, including in remote and rural areas of Scotland, will find this tender particularly lucrative. The contract's emphasis on community benefits, such as employment, skill development, and environmental initiatives, enhances its appeal to firms with robust community engagement and corporate social responsibility programmes. Providers demonstrating innovation in digital tools and a comprehensive understanding of trauma support will be well-positioned to succeed in this procurement process.
