## Summary

The Kent and Medway Towns Fire Authority is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Subsurface Casualty Location and Retrieval - Market Engagement." This initiative focuses on firefighting, rescue, and safety equipment within the UK, specifically aimed at subsurface surveying services. Interested suppliers are invited to demonstrate their products' capabilities during a controlled scenario scheduled for Wednesday, 11th December 2025 at Teston ME18 5BX. The demonstration aims to assess suppliers’ remotely operated vehicles' ability in search, location, and retrieval of simulated subsurface casualties. The deadline for participation interest is set for 15th December 2025, with no guarantee that it will culminate in a tender invitation.

This engagement offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in advanced remotely operated vehicles and subsurface surveying services. Companies focusing on high-precision equipment and rapid deployment systems are particularly well-suited to seize this opportunity to showcase their products and expand their reach within the public sector. Participation in this market engagement provides networking potential and the chance to position their technology for future procurement needs, albeit at the suppliers' own cost. Businesses with innovative solutions in data output clarity and operational speed will find this demonstration a beneficial platform to enhance visibility and demonstrate their competitive edge.
