## Summary

Reigate and Banstead Borough Council is seeking to commission a series of permanent artworks as part of the Westvale Park Open Spaces - Public Art project in the Riverside Green Chain, Reigate, United Kingdom. The project is currently at the tender stage, inviting expressions of interest and proposals by 10 July 2026, with an anticipated award date at the end of July 2026. The council is looking for a lead consultant working with artists or a collective to deliver diverse artistic installations that integrate sustainability and community engagement. The total budget allocated for this project is £225,000 plus VAT, funded through Section 106 contributions, and involves an open procurement procedure under the services category.

This tender is an excellent opportunity for businesses in the art installations, sculpture, and sustainable art fields to participate in a high-profile public art initiative. Suitable candidates would include individual artists, consultancies, and artist collectives with expertise in creating site-specific, eco-friendly artworks that engage the community and contribute to the local identity. With a commitment to the environmental sustainability strategy and a net zero target by 2030, this project seeks innovative approaches that consider the environmental impact, making it ideal for businesses that align with these values and possess creative, interdisciplinary skills. Opportunities exist for further collaboration and partnerships through this initiative, potentially enhancing business visibility and growth in the public artwork sector.
