## Summary

The Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, has completed the contract process under the initiative RBGKEW1417, titled "Henry Moore Summer 2026 - Fine Art Handling, Transportation & Base Fabrication & Excavation". This procurement relates to artistic services, specifically the transport and handling of artworks, along with the installation and excavation of exhibition bases, primarily for the upcoming Henry Moore exhibition in 2026 at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst. The contract was awarded on 1st October 2025, with MTEC Warehousing Limited named as the supplier. The process was conducted as a limited procurement method, necessitated by the uniqueness of the artworks, which fall outside typical directive applications.

This tender represents significant growth potential for businesses engaged in fine art handling and exhibition management, especially those with expertise in managing large-scale bronze artworks. Companies with capabilities in transportation, installation, and fabrication of custom exhibition frameworks would find this project a worthy opportunity. The contract involves intricate management of art pieces through a demanding logistical and technical scope, thus demanding expertise in handling valuable and delicate artistic items. Engaging with such a prestigious project can enhance a company's portfolio and networks within the artistic services industry, particularly for those already recognised for their specialised skills in this niche market.
