## Summary

The NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board has awarded contracts for the provision of the Community Pain Service. This procurement falls under the health services category, identified by the CPV code 85100000. The contracts, structured under the Provider Selection Regime, cover three areas: South Nottinghamshire, Mid Nottinghamshire, and Bassetlaw. The services are set to be delivered between 1st April 2026 and 31st March 2027. The procurement process proceeded without prior publication due to its alignment with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, bypassing the standard procurement directive under the Procurement Act 2023. The most recent update as of 28th November 2025 confirms the formal award of these contracts through a direct award process.

This awarded tender represents significant business opportunities for large-scale enterprises within the health services sector. Companies that specialise in community healthcare services, particularly those proficient in triaging patients and managing care pathways, will find this contract aligning well with their expertise. Given the set contract values and activity-based structure for the regions covered, participating in similar future procurements could bolster growth for companies looking to expand their footprint in the UK's healthcare services market. Firms equipped to meet the clinical performance standards as described, including managing the transition from community to secondary care, will particularly benefit from engagement in such opportunities.
