## Summary

The procurement process initiated by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC) is currently in the planning stage under the tender titled "Joint or Separate Delivery of Digital Directory Platform/Microenterprise Support Services". With the procurement tagged for the service category in health, social work, and other community services, the opportunity lies in the region of Pontypridd, UK (UKL15). The council is seeking expressions of interest via eTenderWales for developing a secure digital platform and mobile application to support Community Microenterprises. The planned service procurement, valued at £100,000, grossing up to £120,000, allows for options of either integrated or distinct service contracts. The deadline for registering an expression of interest is 8th December 2025, and shortlisted candidates can anticipate the contract period to commence on 1st April 2026 and conclude on 31st March 2027.

This tender presents rich potential for business expansion in the sectors of digital solutions, health, and social works, particularly for SMEs. Ideal bidders would include businesses capable of developing and supporting digital and mobile platforms, as well as those experienced in community enterprise support, particularly within the healthcare and social service sectors. The contract aims to foster community engagement and capacity building by linking local Microenterprises to customers and forming a supportive network for ongoing development. By meeting the service requirements and integrating seamlessly with local authority systems, businesses can position themselves to leverage the existing community framework, thereby sustaining long-term growth and enhancing social impact. The contract encourages fostering relationships, aligning business services with community needs, and ensuring all digital interactions conform to the council’s cyber security and data protection standards.
