## Summary

The Welsh Government has completed the procurement process for its Media Services Framework, encompassing three lots: Media Monitoring, Press Office Management System, and Media Forward Planner. This framework is relevant to service industries such as business consulting and IT services and is centred in Cardiff, United Kingdom. The procurement was initiated by an open procedure and concluded with an award to Onclusive. The contracting stage is complete, with contracts set to commence on 1st May 2026 and ending on 30th April 2030. The standstill period ends on 27th April 2026, and the future signature date is scheduled for 29th April 2026.

This framework presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in media monitoring, press office systems, and forward planning services, particularly those capable of providing bilingual output and comprehensive media evaluations. Large-scale businesses, rather than SMEs, appear favoured for this framework, given the nature of the award and the entities involved. Companies with expertise in targeted strategic media services and IT package solutions are likely well-positioned to compete effectively in similar tenders by the Welsh Government, thereby enhancing their market reach in the public sector.
