## Summary

The public procurement process for the "Windsor Estate External Redecorations and Refurbishment" has concluded with the awarding of contracts by The Royal Household, based in London, UK. This opportunity, focused within the works industry category, pertains to external decoration and refurbishment tasks across Windsor Castle, Windsor Royal Mews, Home Park, and Hampton Court Royal Paddocks. The procurement stage is at the award phase, following an open competition below the threshold. Significant dates include the contract start on 8th June 2026 and end on 7th June 2030. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly well-suited to participate and benefit from opportunities within both lots, as key elements, such as maintaining historic aesthetics and managing access and security throughout the operations, highlight the need for specialized skills. The successful suppliers, including Trident Maintenance Service Ltd and Thomas Sinden Ltd for Lot A, and Ian Williams Ltd for Lot B, underscore the importance of collaboration and expertise in managing and executing the intricate requirements involved in preserving the heritage sites.
