## Summary

This public procurement involves a contract modification under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) for health care services, specifically focusing on hospital and related services. The contract, facilitated by the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board, is titled "The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH) 2022 - 2027 / QEH 2022-2027" and resides in the industry category of services. The modification aims to add cognitive impairment beds at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to bolster local capacity in the UKH16 region, with financial adjustments in effect from 1st October 2025. The contract's status is active, spanning from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2030, and aligns with regulatory guidance under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses within the healthcare services and care provision sectors, especially those specialising in cognitive care and rehabilitation services. Companies experienced in managing short-term intermediate care placements, with competencies in handling complex patient needs, particularly for individuals with cognitive impairments or dementia, are well-suited to compete. The contract values align with national cost adjustments, making it an attractive prospect for service providers aiming to expand their footprint within the NHS framework. Interested parties would benefit from understanding regional care demands and positioning their services to meet the evolving healthcare infrastructure requirements.
