## Summary

The procurement process is being managed by The Education and Training Foundation, located at Buckingham Palace Road, London. The process is currently at the planning stage, with a market engagement exercise aimed at evaluating the foundation's impact from 2013 to 2026. This falls under the services industry category, specifically focusing on research and evaluation consultancy services. The initiative spans regions within the UK, where pre-market engagement is scheduled from November 2025 to February 2026, with the process eventually leading to an Invitation to Tender (ITT) launch in February 2026. Key dates include the ITT close in March 2026, and the contract is expected to be awarded by April 2026, with mobilisation beginning the same month. The procurement method is currently exploratory, with potential procurement to follow post-engagement. The suggested contract period runs from May 2026 to December 2026, allowing businesses time to outline comprehensive plans.

This forthcoming tender creates significant growth opportunities for businesses involved in research, development, and evaluation consultancy services. Given its focus on assessing institutional impact, businesses with expertise in education evaluation and capacity for large-scale analysis would find this particularly appealing. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), are especially encouraged to participate, offering a diverse range of perspectives during the market engagement phase. Engaging in this early planning stage could position such organisations favourably for future tender opportunities, as it provides an avenue to showcase their capabilities and potentially refine service delivery approaches tailored to the foundation's requirements.
