The procurement stages involved included quality assessments, price evaluation, and social value considerations, culminating in an award and contract completion stage by 8th April 2026.

This tender presents significant opportunities for business growth for companies specialising in agricultural and horticultural products, particularly those that can provide comprehensive design, installation, and maintenance services for large-scale floral displays. Businesses that prioritize sustainability, such as those offering peat-free compost and pollinator-friendly planting, are particularly well-suited for such contracts. The inclusion of variable contract modifications, like the uptake of hanging baskets by local businesses, enables suppliers to expand their service offerings flexibly to meet local business demands throughout the contract term. This procurement process highlights the importance of quality, price competitiveness, and social value, which are crucial for businesses aspiring to win tenders in this sector.
