## Summary

Staffordshire County Council is overseeing the procurement process titled "Community-Based Day Opportunities," which falls under the industry category of health and social work services. The procurement is organised through a Light Touch Regime Dynamic Purchasing System (LTR DPS) with a focus on providing day opportunities for individuals with various disabilities and conditions. The procurement process is at the tender update stage as of 12th January 2026, when the Council decided to suspend new applications for the LTR DPS due to a sufficient number of suppliers being appointed. The process is a selective procurement, following a restricted procedure, and the location for the delivery is in the UKG24 region of the United Kingdom. The most recent contract, valued at £32,803.35, was awarded on 30th September 2025 to Community Homes of Intensive Care and Education Limited.

This procurement offers substantial opportunities for businesses in the community and social services sector, particularly those skilled in working with individuals with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, and similar needs. Companies that can deliver innovative and tailored day opportunities through a LTR DPS stand to expand their service offerings and establish a strong partnership with a regional authority like Staffordshire County Council. Given the award structure and focused service criteria, businesses specialising in health and social care, especially larger organisations with diversified service capabilities, would be well-suited to capitalise on this tender and grow within the public service domain.
