## Summary

The Scottish Police Authority, in collaboration with Police Scotland, is currently in the planning phase of a procurement process titled "Transforming Command & Control Project." This project focuses on acquiring a modern Computer Aided Despatch (CAD) application along with possible additional functionalities such as Integrated Communication Control System (ICCS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. The procurement process, which falls under the goods category and pertains to command, control, communication, and computer systems, is primarily intended for Police Scotland and will be conducted in the region of Scotland (UKM). The initial Request for Information (RFI) stage has commenced, with a prior information notice published on 1st December 2025. Interested suppliers have until 19th December 2025 to request the RFI document and submit clarifications, and until 30th January 2026 to submit their RFI responses. An Invitation to Tender (ITT) is anticipated to be issued in November 2026.

This tender presents significant opportunities for suppliers specializing in computer-related and professional services, particularly those with expertise in command and control systems. Companies that provide comprehensive software and hardware solutions that include project management, installation, and support will find this procurement exercise particularly beneficial. Moreover, businesses capable of offering integrated solutions that enhance public safety operations through advanced CAD applications are well-positioned to competitively participate. Engaging in this opportunity can pave the way for business growth by establishing long-term partnerships with the Scottish Police Authority and influencing the development of future-proof command and control systems tailored for Police Scotland.
