## Summary

Collingwood College, located in Camberley, Surrey, United Kingdom, recently concluded its catering tender process. The college, known for its strong performance and commitment to nurturing independent and responsible students, sought high-quality catering services that could enhance the school's offering. The contract spans three years, from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2029, with a possible extension of two additional years. The competitive flexible procedure was adopted for this open procurement process, with emphasis on quality over the lowest price. The procurement's total estimated value is £2,358,385, covering both performance and hospitality services, and the final award notice was published on 28th April 2026, following the submission deadline on 6th January 2026.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the catering industry, particularly those with a focus on delivering fresh, locally sourced ingredients and developing innovative service enhancements. Suitable contenders would be companies with an annual turnover exceeding £500,000, possessing robust liability insurance of at least £5 million. While large established firms like Innovate Services Limited engaged successfully, there is potential for SMEs interested in partnering with educational institutions to innovate and provide superior catering services. Businesses are encouraged to bring creative value additions, aligning with the college's vision of high standards and best value for its students, fostering a collaborative environment as part of the school's inclusive ethos.
