## Summary

Ardersier Port (Scotland) Limited is seeking tenders for the "Ardersier Port, Phase 2 - Quay Civils (300m)" project, classified under the construction work category. Located at Ardersier Port Approach, Inverness, Scotland, the project is currently in the tender update stage, with key adjustments having been made to extend the submission deadline to 23rd January 2026, ensuring fair participation post-holidays. The procurement involves significant engineering works, including reinforced concrete capping and quay furniture installation, offering a design lifespan of 100 years. The competitive procedure with negotiation method will be employed, aiming to finalise the contract by mid-2026. This opportunity carries a contract value of £23 million, with the process involving pre-qualification, tender invitations, and negotiations.

The tender presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly for construction firms specialising in large-scale civil works and infrastructure projects. Companies with a track record of similar projects and holding necessary trade registrations and insurances could find the contract advantageous. The project's scope allows for variations beyond the initial 300m, potentially offering further work phases. As part of the national vision for expanding offshore wind facilities, this project aligns with broader economic goals, fostering long-term partnerships in the renewable energy sector for successful bidders, while also benefiting the local economy by contributing to job creation and infrastructure development.
