## Summary

The procurement process for the "Care at Home and Supported Living Services" contract, initiated by Argyll and Bute Council, has concluded at the award stage. This procurement, categorised under Social Work Services (CPV code 85310000), focused on providing services in various locations throughout Argyll and Bute, including the postcodes UKM63 and UKM81. The process adhered to an open procedure under legal directive 32014L0024, and the council used an open procurement method. Initially announced with the reference SC Ref:818213, the procurement involved key dates around December 2025, when interested parties were to be contacted post-deadline for prequalification. However, the awards for both lots related to Care at Home Services to Older People and Supported Living Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities were marked as unsuccessful.

Despite the discontinuation of contract awards, this initiative presents potential opportunities for companies specialising in social work and related services, particularly those with the capacity to deliver care and support to older individuals and adults with learning disabilities. Businesses equipped with innovative models that promote independence, enhance community engagement, and are capable of tailoring services to individual needs would be well-suited to collaborate with the Council in future tenders. Such enterprises can leverage their expertise to contribute towards improving social inclusion, health outcomes, and quality of life for service users, positioning themselves as key partners in future service provision within the region.
