## Summary

Mid South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is leading a procurement process for a Framework Agreement titled "The Supply of Orthotic Products", designed by its procurement partner, HealthTrust Europe LLP, through the MSE Framework. This initiative aims to offer a comprehensive selection of orthotic solutions, including bespoke, modular, and off the shelf products. Submissions are processed via Bravo Solutions Portal exclusively, with tender and enquiry periods closing on 29th January 2026 and 9th January 2026, respectively. The procurement concentrates on goods within the orthopaedic supplies sector, involving multiple NHS Trusts across the UKG31 region. The contract, beginning on 1st April 2026, spans an initial 24 months with potential extensions, engaging NHS trusts such as University Hospitals Birmingham, promoting collaboration across the healthcare industry.

The tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in orthotic products to gain exposure and expand their market share within the public health sector. Given its breakdown into specialised lots, enterprises can bid for categories aligned with their expertise, ranging from bespoke footwear to advanced modular systems, each with specific award criteria. SMEs particularly stand to benefit, with opportunities to secure contracts under favourable conditions prioritising quality, service, social value, and competitive pricing. The Framework aims to support healthcare demand effectively, emphasising both innovation and the provision of reliable orthotic equipment. Businesses capable of supplying or manufacturing such equipment can leverage this tender to enhance growth through robust partnerships with key NHS bodies.
