## Summary

The Energy Saving Trust Ltd, an organisation dedicated to environmental protection, has initiated an open tender process for consultancy services to support Business Energy Scotland (BES) with energy-efficiency projects. The tender, titled "Invitation to Tender for the Provision of Consultancy Services to Support Energy Saving Trust Business Energy Scotland (BES)," falls under the services category, specifically focusing on energy-efficiency consultancy. The procurement is structured as a framework agreement, set to begin on 6th April 2026 and conclude on 31st March 2027, with potential renewals. Businesses interested in participating have until 30th January 2026 to submit their electronic applications. The procurement activity is set across various locations within Scotland, providing comprehensive support for SMEs in energy-saving initiatives.

This tender presents significant opportunities for consultancy firms specialising in energy efficiency, environmental engineering, and technical consultancy. Companies with expertise in delivering tailored energy-saving reports and advice, and those skilled in helping organisations reduce carbon footprint and improve cost efficiency, would find this an ideal opportunity for business growth. The tender's framework allows for engaging in recurring and one-off projects, fostering long-term relationships with the Energy Saving Trust. Additionally, the programme encourages collaboration with the Scottish Government’s funding schemes and local authorities, which could further broaden business networks and potential clientele. Medium-sized enterprises in Scotland specialising in sustainable solutions could greatly benefit from associating with the Energy Saving Trust through this initiative, potentially enabling them to leverage government-backed financial support to enhance their service offerings.
