## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire is planning a tender process entitled "Community Grant Round - Specialist Domestic Abuse Group Work." This initiative falls under the industry category of Health and Social Work Services, specifically targeting the delivery of guidance and counselling services to domestic abuse survivors. It encompasses regions within the United Kingdom, such as Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, including areas like Peterborough, Cambridge City, East Cambridgeshire, South Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, and Fenland. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with key dates including the deadline for bid submission on 26th January 2026 and the anticipated award of successful bidders the week commencing 9th February 2026. This tender offers approximately £300,000 in funding over a two-year period starting from 1st April 2026, potentially creating significant opportunities for community organisations within these regions.

This tender provides an excellent opportunity for SMEs and VCSEs (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises) based within Cambridgeshire to expand their services and engage in supporting domestic abuse survivors. By participating, organisations can develop place-based group work solutions that address the unique needs of local victims, foster community resilience, encourage volunteering, and reduce isolation for those requiring support. The initiative aligns with the Commissioner’s strategy to support victims and witnesses through responsive services, thereby unlocking opportunities for businesses proficient in social work, community health services, and related fields. Organisations eager to contribute towards enhancing community resilience and addressing domestic abuse issues are well-suited to compete in this tender, offering them an impactful pathway to business growth and community involvement.
