## Summary

The procurement process for the Devon & Cornwall Victim Services (Adult Multi-Crime) has been awarded by The Chief Constable for Devon and Cornwall Police to Victim Support. This process aims to provide trauma-informed support, safety planning, and advocacy to adults affected by crime, including victims of standard risk domestic abuse, across Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly. The procurement method used is an open procedure under special light-touch regime regulations. The award was made on 2nd March 2026, and the service is expected to commence on 1st May 2026, with the contract having a potential renewal for up to two years beyond its initial end date of 30th April 2028.

This procurement initiative presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on community, social, and personal services, particularly those specialising in holistic support for crime victims. Organisations like Victim Support, a SME and voluntary/community social enterprise, exemplify the type of entity well-suited to deliver such specialised services. Businesses with expertise in providing independent advocacy and casework, or those capable of engaging with victims and their networks to facilitate recovery, are especially encouraged to consider participating in similar future opportunities. The open procedure allows for broader participation, attracting SMEs passionate about public service missions and community impact.
