## Summary

This service, essential for maintaining a secure and compliant data repository, incorporates Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications such as Snowflake, Matillion, Lamda, and Tableau. Focused on software programming and consultancy services, this tender is categorised under CPV code 72200000 and centres around Greater Manchester in the United Kingdom. The process has advanced to the Award stage, with a contract signed on 1 July 2025, with Manuka AI Ltd. The procurement was conducted via a limited procedure under Framework RM1557.14 (G-Cloud 14) without prior publication, following TfGM’s strategic review to extend its data warehouse capabilities.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in software consultancy, data management, and technology solutions. Companies proficient in COTS software integration and those capable of delivering comprehensive data extraction, loading, and transformation services will find this contract beneficial for business growth. Given the specialised software requirements and the buyer's emphasis on sourcing through a competitive G-Cloud 14 framework, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in providing scalable data solutions are particularly well-positioned to compete effectively for similar future tenders. As Transport for Greater Manchester considers expanding the scope of its data needs, businesses offering innovative and efficient data warehousing solutions may find further opportunities to collaborate in upcoming projects.
