## Summary

Staffordshire County Council is in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Low Level Supported Accommodation for individuals with additional needs." This initiative, aimed at providing affordable socially rented accommodation and visiting support services in Staffordshire, engages the services category within the industry sectors of housing services and health and social work services. The project is located in the UKG24 region of the United Kingdom. Key milestones include a market engagement scheduled for completion by 27th February 2026, with the contract period expected to start on 1st December 2026 and end on 30th November 2029. The procurement method focuses on a light-touch regime above the threshold, particularly suitable for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth, especially benefiting registered social landlords, housing associations, and charitable organisations capable of providing affordable accommodation. Furthermore, adult social care providers registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for personal care and supported living services are well-positioned to compete. The initiative seeks innovative partnership solutions to enhance skill-building and independence among individuals with care needs, thereby offering business expansion prospects in the housing and social care sectors.
