## Summary

The Common Services Agency, more commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), is seeking proposals for the renewal of a national framework aimed at supplying Central Venous Catheters to NHS Scotland. This contracting exercise is for the goods category, specifically covering the supply of catheters and related products under the classification CPV 33141200. The estimated framework value is £13,000,000 over a four-year period, with the tender currently in the active stage and proposals due by the 3rd of July, 2026. Interested suppliers can participate through an open procurement method featuring a comprehensive tender process. The delivery location for the goods is the UKM region, indicating the majority of the framework's benefits will be realised in Scotland.

This procurement framework, offering contracts for a diverse array of catheter-related goods, presents a substantial growth opportunity for manufacturers and suppliers specialising in medical devices and consumables. With an emphasis on delivering community benefits and fostering engagements within the local ecosystem, the tender is well-suited for businesses that can demonstrate quality, supply chain resilience, and sustainability, as these constitute vital selection criteria alongside competitive pricing. Moreover, potential suppliers will have the opportunity to innovate and broaden their market scope by potentially contributing to the newly integrated innovation lots, aimed at introducing new products throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
