## Summary

The Education Authority is currently in the tender stage for the "Provision of Vehicle Bodywork and Accident Repair Services" to service fleets across Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western areas. This procurement falls under the services category and involves repair and maintenance services of motor vehicles, particularly focusing on accident repair. The open procurement process, enabled through an open procedure, is supported by Northern Irish devolved regulations and offers a framework agreement with a maximum of two participants per lot. Suppliers should note the tender deadline of 6th July 2026 for submissions, with the anticipated contract to commence on 1st August 2026 and end by 31st July 2030. Interested parties should consider the provision for electronic submissions as outlined by the Education Authority, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in vehicle repair and maintenance, specifically those with capabilities in handling diverse vehicle makes and sizes. SMEs and VCSEs will find this procurement beneficial as it supports their inclusion. Businesses with the ability to deliver high-quality vehicle bodywork and accident repair services in compliance with statutory vehicle standards will be particularly well-suited. The framework allows suppliers to expand their market presence by servicing multiple fleet areas, with the potential for additional purchases during the contract's lifespan. Involvement in this framework can enhance business growth by securing a stable workload and establishing a relationship with the Education Authority, a key public sector client.
