## Summary

The City of London Corporation has announced an intention to award a contract under the Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023 for the provision of Intermediate Rehabilitation Beds as part of the Pan London Homeless Substance Misuse Programme. The programme, classified under hospital and related services, is targeted at providing support to individuals at risk of homelessness. The contract process follows a limited procurement method, specifically a direct award without prior publication of a call for competition, and is governed by the Health Care Services Regulations 2023. The tender pertains to services due to commence from 1st October 2025 and conclude by 31st March 2026, with submissions for written representations being accepted until 22nd January 2026. The buying organisation, The Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London, is situated in London, UK.

This procurement presents a notable opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare and support services for vulnerable populations, particularly large organisations capable of delivering consistent high-quality care. Mildmay Mission Hospital, a recognised provider within the region, is the intended recipient of the contract under the direct award process. The opportunity is well-suited for entities with a proven track record in managing medically intensive rehabilitation programmes, especially those addressing complex healthcare needs interwoven with social challenges. With a contract value of £537,000, this initiative supports business growth frameworks focused on healthcare innovation, social care integration, and effective fund utilisation strategies. Businesses seeking to extend their reach in public health services would find considerable benefits in aligning with such objectives.
