## Summary

The procurement process for the Wiltshire Council Specialist Highway Works Framework, titled "HE2395," is currently in the tender stage, with Wiltshire Council serving as the buying organisation. This framework aims to secure multiple suppliers to perform specialist highway works, supporting the Council's highway maintenance services. The industry category is primarily focused on construction, foundation, and surface works for highways and roads, situated in the UKK15 region of the United Kingdom. The tender process follows an open procurement method, with the final date for submissions being 13 April 2026 and the contract award period concluding on 27 April 2026. Interested suppliers can submit their proposals electronically in English.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the construction and civil engineering sectors, particularly those specialising in road maintenance and surface treatments. The framework offers an extensive scope, covering various lots such as road retexturing, grouted macadam, and traffic data collection, encompassing a total gross value of £18,000,000. It is particularly suited for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), with the framework supporting framework agreements that could potentially extend up to 2034. Companies with expertise in quality technical assessments and British Standards compliance are encouraged to participate, as there will be mini-competitions for specific projects that arise during the framework's operational tenure.
