## Summary

The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime in London is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for the Stronger Futures 3.0 Programme, an initiative by the Mayor of London's Violence Reduction Unit (VRU). This programme aims to provide after-school and holiday activities, primarily targeting violence reduction through positive engagement for young Londoners. The market engagement session is scheduled for 20th January 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, conducted online via Teams. Interested parties must register by 19th January 2026. The estimated contract period for the services is from 30th March 2026 to 29th March 2028, with an estimated value of £4,161,000, focusing on education, training, health, and social work within the UKI region.

This tender presents robust opportunities for businesses involved in education, training, and community services. With a significant investment of over £4 million, companies can engage in delivering services that create social impact while benefiting economically. This opportunity is particularly suited to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). Businesses capable of providing innovative and sustainable community activities or those experienced in violence prevention and youth development will find this an excellent opportunity for expansion and increased visibility within London's public sector ecosystem.

### Planning Information

The Mayor of London's Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) is committed to an approach in tackling violence that is rooted in prevention and early intervention. Our key focus in stopping violence from happening is through investing and providing better access to positive opportunities for young people, families and communities.
That's why we're launching the third iteration of the Stronger Futures programme, the VRU's flagship after-school and holiday activities programme. More than 19,000 young people benefited from support, guidance and access to opportunities after school, at weekend and during the school holidays within Stronger Futures 2.0 that ran between 2023-25.
We have built on the successes of previous iterations and listened carefully to feedback from you and from young Londoners. This has shaped our understanding of what more is needed to support grassroots organisations and larger VCS organisations to deliver effectively and to work in partnership for the benefit of young people and the diverse communities affected by violence.
Purpose of the Market Engagement
The VRU invites partners to a Market Engagement Session to discuss requirements for future commissioning of the Stronger Futures 3.0 Programme.
This programme will strengthen the VRUs after school and holiday offer to young Londoners in reducing violence across London, providing positive opportunities and wraparound support during the core hours of 3pm-10pm after school, and during school holiday periods. The focus will be on:
Delivery of the programme requirements
Supporting community organisations to build capacity and become more sustainable
Details on type of after school and holiday activities the VRU are seeking
Next steps on applications process
Following this Market Engagement Session we will be sending out details of the Grant Management company who will lead and support the application process for Stronger Futures 3.0, with support and guidance to ensure organisations are eligible for the funding opportunity, while also allowing ease of application process within a short time frame of submission deadline.
