## Summary

The public procurement process by Hornchurch Academy Trust, facilitated by Place Group Limited acting as the procurement agent, aimed to establish an Open Framework for various construction, infrastructure, building works, installations, and renewables. This extensive framework spans multiple categories, including renewables, construction and infrastructure, building works and improvements, modular buildings, sports facilities, and project management and consultancy services. Key dates include a tender publication on 15th January 2026 and a closing date for awards set for June 2026, with an 8-year potential framework period valued up to £996,000,000 including VAT. The framework agreement involves a wide range of suppliers capable of competing in different categories, catering to public sector bodies across the UK.

This framework creates significant opportunities for a diverse range of businesses, including SMEs and large enterprises, to engage in public sector work across the UK. With provisions for mini-competitions and direct awards, businesses specialising in renewables, construction, modular buildings, and project management can leverage this framework to expand their market presence. It provides a platform for businesses delivering quality and cost-effective solutions in the construction and renewable sectors to engage with numerous UK public sector entities. Potential suppliers anticipate providing critical infrastructure and sustainability solutions, aligning with net-zero targets and enhancing public sector facilities nationwide.
