## Summary

PROSPER is currently in the planning stage of a public procurement process for its "Material Supply & Merchant Services Framework". As a public undertaking operating from Newcastle upon Tyne, PROSPER is seeking input through a Request for Information (RFI) for this multi-supplier framework. The procurement falls within the industry category of goods, specifically targeting construction materials, bathroom furniture, electrical machinery, and heating equipment, with an estimated value of £600 million. The framework will serve PROSPER's members and other public sector bodies across the UK. The deadline for submitting information for the RFI is set for 3rd February 2026 at 23:59. The framework comprises ten lots, ranging from sanitaryware to solar PV and battery storage, with a specific concentration on merchant services divided into regional sub-lots.

This framework presents abundant opportunities for businesses looking for growth by engaging with multiple public sector clients through a single framework agreement. Companies that specialize in construction materials, electrical and heating supplies, or merchant services will find this tender particularly advantageous. It is suited to both large corporations and SMEs capable of providing regional and national coverage. Engaging in this framework can enhance a business's visibility and credibility within the public sector, and provide the potential for sustained, multi-year contracts through a robust procurement method. Businesses interested in participating should prepare for a competitive process and ensure registration on the Central Digital Platform and Proactis ProContract systems to maximize their opportunity for inclusion.
