## Summary

The procurement process, led by Merseytravel, focuses on the "Kingsway Tunnel Embankment Stabilisation - Outbound Road" project located in Liverpool, United Kingdom (region UKD72). This project falls under the construction industry category and aims to engage a specialist engineering contractor for early involvement, design, and execution of slope stabilisation measures along the A59 Kingsway Tunnel approach road. With an allocated gross budget of £2,000,000, the contract will award following an open procedure. Key dates include the tender submission deadline on 3rd March 2026, end of the enquiry period on 10th February 2026, and the contract period starting on 13th April 2026 until 12th April 2027.

This tender presents substantial business growth opportunities, particularly for large construction companies with the capacity for specialised highway and road construction works. Due to criteria such as demonstrating a minimum annual turnover of £10,000,000, and the requirement to have significant public liability and professional indemnity insurance cover, the tender is best suited to well-established firms.
