## Summary

The procurement process involves Chichester District Council, classified under public authority - sub-central government, which recently awarded a contract for repairs, servicing, and maintenance of short stay (homeless) housing properties. This open procedure tender falls under the 'Repair and maintenance services' industry category and covers around 70 properties within the region UKJ27 in the United Kingdom. The process was initiated as part of the National Housing Federation framework with site visits scheduled in March 2026. The completed award phase concluded with the contract signing scheduled for 15th June 2026, extending potentially up to 2030 if extended, with Westons Group LTD being awarded the contract potentially valued at approximately £408,000 annually.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly suitable for companies specializing in comprehensive maintenance services including roofing, plumbing, and central heating installations. Businesses with capabilities in providing reactive maintenance for diverse installations like water, gas, and electrical systems can thrive under this contract. As it emphasises a breadth of maintenance services and requires ensuring installations remain in safe working order, businesses with substantial experience in such services, particularly smaller and medium-sized enterprises with flexible service provision capabilities, stand to benefit and expand their footprint in public sector work.
