This procurement will be split into two lots : Lot 1 - Self Drive Tankers Lot 2 - Self Drive Vacuum Excavators The framework will be for an initial period of 4 years plus 4 x 1 year extension options at the discretion of Scottish Water. ### Lot Information Lot 1 - Self Drive Tankers Scottish Water requires suppliers to provide a self-drive hire tankering vehicles to be driven by Scottish Water operatives. Hiring should support short term needs however the option of long term hires will be required. Suppliers will be required to have the ability to cover all areas of Scotland. Vehicles fit for the purpose of each job regards vehicle size and capacity must be available. Vehicles offering must include: * Vehicles suitable for off road empties i.e. tractor and bowser * 2000 gallon rigid tanker * 3000 gallon rigid tanker * 4000 gallon rigid tanker * HGV Articulated tanker. Vacuum excavation is the preferred method due to its precision, reduced risk of utility strikes, and minimal environmental impact compared to conventional excavation methods.
