## Summary

The North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC Ltd) is inviting tenders for the establishment of a framework agreement dedicated to providing varied roofing services. This framework, available across regions in the United Kingdom including the North East, Yorkshire & Humber, East, Northern Ireland, North West, West, and West Midlands, covers both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance services. The contract is valued at £32,000,000 and utilises an open procedure procurement method. Currently in the tender evaluation stage, critical dates include an extended submission deadline on 4th March 2026 and an award completion period by 10th April 2026. The industry category involves comprehensive roof works, and applicable legislation is outlined under UKPGA 2023/54.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in roofing installations, replacements, and maintenance services. It is particularly suited for SMEs that can demonstrate their capacity and resources to undertake large-scale projects. The framework allows direct awards and mini-competitions, providing flexibility in procurement and enabling businesses to foster longer-term relationships with multiple purchasing consortia, including NEUPC, NWUPC, and SUPC. Companies with expertise in sustainable roofing materials, emergency repair services, and additional offerings such as solar panel cleaning, roof glazing installation, and maintenance are encouraged to apply, presenting notable growth potential in servicing educational institutions throughout the UK.
