## Summary

The Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew has completed the award stage of a procurement process titled "Henry Moore Summer 2026 - Fine Art Handling, Transportation & Base Fabrication & Excavation" under the services category. This project involves a collaboration with the Henry Moore Foundation for an exhibition at Wakehurst from June 2026 to May 2027, featuring large-scale outdoor artworks. The process, identified under tender ID RBGKEW1484, followed a limited procurement method without a prior call for competition due to the specialised nature and intellectual property of the art pieces. The contract was awarded to MTEC Warehousing Limited, with the contract officially signed on 22 January 2026, at a value of £46,996.

This procurement provides significant opportunities for businesses involved in fine art handling and transportation, especially those experienced in dealing with high-value and unique artworks. Companies with expertise in project management, installation, and specialist vehicle operation would find this tender particularly relevant. Given the prestigious nature of the exhibition and its potential to attract significant public attention, there are also opportunities for businesses in the retail and publishing sectors to benefit from associated sales and branding opportunities. The project supports Kew's mission to integrate art and nature, offering business growth avenues in both the cultural and environmental sectors.
