## Summary

The NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract for the "Barnet Wellbeing service", marked with the identifier C405892, under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This procurement process, classified under CPV code 85121270 for psychiatrist or psychologist services, aims to enhance community mental health support, including social prescription and recovery initiatives. Based in London, specifically Barnet, the contract was awarded on 16 February 2026 and will commence on 1 April 2026, lasting until 31 March 2028. The award follows a limited procurement method without prior publication, tailored to repeat services satisfying an existing contract valued at £828,000, with no option to extend.

This contract offers significant business growth opportunities, especially for those specialising in mental health and collaborative service delivery within the community. Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), such as Community Barnet, the existing provider, may find favourable grounds for competition by continuing their services. Such businesses can leverage their capability in quality and innovative solutions, integration, collaboration, and addressing health inequalities—all highly valued criteria. This focus on ensuring service sustainability and social value could potentially expand the market reach and enhance organisational profiles within the industry.
