## Summary

The NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board has initiated and confirmed the award of the contract titled "Mind IAPT (Enfield and Barnet) - C406293" under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) regulations, bypassing the need for the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This contract is centred around psychiatrist or psychologist services aimed at delivering talking therapies to individuals with common mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety disorders. Located in Barnet, the procurement falls under the services sector and marks a significant moment as the contract will commence on 1 April 2026, running until 31 March 2028. This direct award process C assigns the contract to the existing provider, Mind in Enfield and Barnet, with a total value of £200,000 over two years, with no option to extend the term.

This contracting opportunity promises to enhance business growth for service providers in the mental health sector, particularly those specialising in delivering talking therapies. Mind in Enfield and Barnet, being the awarded provider, is expected to continue its satisfactory delivery based on a rigorous scoring system that evaluated quality, integration, social value, and overall service sustainability. Businesses capable of innovative approaches in mental health services, with a strong emphasis on reducing health inequalities, are well-suited to the demands of such a contract. The procurement is designed to maintain consistency and replicate existing services, providing stability and growth prospects for established mental health service providers.
