## Summary

The NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board has completed a procurement process for community health services, specifically domiciliary care, under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract has been awarded to Headzpace Therapeutic Care Limited, a large-scale supplier based in Nottingham. This provider selection follows a limited procurement method, specifically an award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition, and does not fall under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The contract, which came into effect on 28th January 2026 and will run until 31st March 2027, pertains to services in the West Midlands region (UKG38).

This contract presents significant business growth opportunities for providers in the health services sector, especially those skilled in delivering quality domiciliary care. Companies interested in such tenders could benefit from exploring similar direct award opportunities within the Provider Selection Regime framework. It particularly suits businesses that are capable of adapting quickly to varying levels of service delivery, as the contract specifies no guaranteed activity but instead relies on actual service demand. As the awarding criteria emphasise quality, especially patient choice, businesses focused on high-quality, patient-centered care would find this contract particularly well-suited to their capabilities.
