## Summary

The NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded a contract under the title "BSOL_Mr Amroz Khan_2025-26_IFPCHC" for the provision of community health services, specifically domiciliary care services for Continuing Healthcare (CHC) eligible clients. This contract, governed by the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, bypasses the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The contract has been awarded through a direct award process, without prior publication of a call for competition, to Mr Amroz Khan. Located in Birmingham (regions UKG31 and UKG32), the contract commenced on 10th December 2025 and is set to conclude on 31st March 2027. The procurement was completed in the 'Award' stage as of 29th January 2026, highlighting minimal patient choice as the primary award criteria.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in community health services, particularly those with capabilities in providing bespoke domiciliary care. Given the direct award and the variability in contract value based on the activity delivered, this allows service providers to showcase flexibility and patient-centric service approaches. Businesses equipped with the capacity to adapt to the needs of CHC eligible clients in the Birmingham and Solihull area can significantly benefit and expand their influence in the healthcare market by partaking in similar future tenders. The tender method, which allows targeted opportunities without an open call for competition, provides an avenue for businesses already recognised within the NHS network to leverage existing relationships and expand service offerings.
