## Summary

The procurement process initiated by the NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board focuses on the contract for "IAPT & BAME Advocacy - C405895," classified under psychiatrist or psychologist services. This contract is designed to enhance mental health services, specifically improving access to psychological therapies and advocacy services for Black and Minority Ethnic populations. The intended award was confirmed on 17 February 2026, with the contract starting on 1 April 2026 and ending on 31 March 2028, valuing £641,700 over two years. The procurement utilised a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) under the Health Care Services Regulations 2023, excluding the typical Public Contracts Regulations 2015, conducted through direct award process C without prior competition due to the repetitive nature of existing services, with delivery centered in Enfield, London.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for firms specialising in psychiatric and psychological services, particularly those experienced in working with community-centred advocacy for BAME populations. Businesses focusing on innovative mental health solutions and those capable of integrating services to reduce health inequalities and enhance sustainable service delivery may benefit. Given the contract’s emphasis on quality, value, integration, and social responsibility, businesses with proven track records in these areas, such as large-scale health service providers, are well-suited candidates for participation.
